Record a Concept2 PM5 from this page: every stroke's force curve, live, with nothing to install. Rows are kept in this browser and leave it only as files you download. Nothing is sent anywhere.
This browser cannot talk to Bluetooth devices. Open this page in Chrome or Edge (on a Mac, Windows PC, Chromebook or Android phone); Safari and Firefox don't offer Web Bluetooth.
Close ErgData and any other rowing app: the PM5 talks to one app at a time, and a Bluetooth symbol on its screen means something is still connected.
Wake the PM5 by pressing a button, then press Connect to PM5 and pick it from the list.
Set up a piece below if you like, row, and end the piece on the monitor (Menu). It is saved here a minute or so after the PM5 reports the end.
The original PM5v1 doesn't send force curves over Bluetooth. Heart rate appears only when a belt or watch broadcast is paired with the PM5 itself.
This is a hobby project, not coaching or medical advice. The shape targets are guides from published rowing research, the fitness numbers are rough estimates, and rowing hard carries the usual risks, so row within your own limits and talk to a professional about your health. The software is offered as is, under the MIT licence, and its authors accept no liability for its use.

Watts at a set heart rate, and a VO2max estimate
what these numbers meanFrom the steady part of a row (after minute five, before the last minute, sprints and pauses dropped), on the line through your resting heart rate; with three or more rows spanning 40 W the line is fitted to your rows instead. The watts at a heart rate near the one you rowed at is the sturdier number; the VO2max is good to 10 to 15 per cent. These settings stay in this browser.

Files match the Python logger's: the session JSON has one record per stroke with both force curves; the raw log has every Bluetooth message and can rebuild the session later.
